Sports Bar VR Launches for Oculus Rift & Touch, Bringing a New Social Environment for Players
Sports Bar VR claims to be the ultimate social virtual reality video game experience for Oculus Rift. In the spirit of social pub games, Perilous Orbit and Cherry Pop Games brings all the games you’d find in your typical local dive-bar, complete with the classics like darts, checkers, chess, air hockey, right to your Oculus headset! Challenge new and old friends to a game of pool with a completely decked-out pool simulation which includes a variety of game modes like 8 Ball, 9 Ball, Killer, and more! Create insane domino creations using books, chairs and bottles. If it’s a party, don’t worry! You can invite up to six people to join you for some classic analog games in VR.

Later this month, an addition to Sports Bar VR, Pool Nation VR will be available for Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch owners to take advantage of on Steam, and will be upgraded to the full Sports Bar VR experience! Lucky for virtual reality and pool fans, owners of Pool Nation VR on Steam will receive a free, full upgrade to Sports Bar VR, so they’ll get to enjoy all the additional games, content, and dive-bar hangout sessions that come with it!
