What can you tell fans about the difference of shooting in VR versus normal video?
A major difference is that VR is pretty controlled. Thereis no room for crazy positions and everything you do hasto be in a certain distance from the camera. You alwayshave to face the camera that the guy model is wearingduring the scene, which means that he can’t move his head.If performers know the drill it’s way easier for them toshoot a VR scene than a regular scene, because there’sonly so much you can do which makes the scenes usuallyquicker and less difficult.
That’s good for new VR fans to know. Guys, to get your POV in the scene, we place the camera rig right at the male model’s face. So passionate stars like Misha have to work the camera like it’s you staring at her.
So much for the craziness! Oh, and you have to talk a lotto the camera, whisper to it…and kiss it. That’s theweirdest, most awkward thing and I still feel like a jerkwhen I do it even though I’ve shot like 100 VR scenes already.
I don’t think our fans mind when you make out with the camera, since you’re essentially kissing them! Do little subtleties like that make VR shoots more challenging? You’re doing most of the work in these POV scenes.
Well, yes and no. It’s true that in VR shoots, I’m intotal control of the scene, which is great! It can bestrenuous though because, unlike a regular scene, there’sno interaction between both performers. The guy isliterally my human dildo so it’s way more difficult to perform just by myself.
Seems like a lot to get used to. When did you fall in love with performing in VR?
I do like shooting VR scenes. I did my first VR scene 2years ago. I think it was around that time when VR becamevery popular and it started off with only fewcompanies shooting VR content. Now everyone is doing it! I like shootingVR for many reasons. One of them is the quality, VR shoots most of the timeare amazing quality content.
What is your favorite memory from your first VR shoot with us?
Everything! LOL! You’re great to work with. I love it thatyou’re very professional and respectful and caring towardsme.
We love working with you because you get it’s all about the viewer feeling like he’s right there with you. Now that you’re one of the top VR stars, do you feel closer to your fans?
Yes, totally. It’s because I have to think about a personon the other side of the camera when I perform a scene.It’s way more viewer-oriented than regular porn.
Have you ever watched your own VR scenes? If so, can you describe the experience to a fan who has never used VR?
I never watch my scenes. It’s because I’m usually verycritical of myself. I do watch trailers though. I’ve neverwatched myself but I had a chance to see what it is about some time ago in Barcelona watching a different VR scene.Its mindblowing how real it feels!
VR is the future of porn. That means you’re a trendsetter! What do you want to tell fans who are curious about VR but think it’s complicated?
It can’t be more complicated than performing in VR! Ibelieve people find it too exotic because they needspecial gear to enjoy VR. It’s not like an effortless wankto one of the random vids they found on a tube site. Ithink VR is worth your time if you’re looking for a completely new way of experiencing sex, because it feelsso real that you’ll never wanna jerk off to regular pornagain.

No idea. I don’t think VR is a directorial path for me.

It’s very different and challenging to shoot VR pornscenes versus the usual porn scenes. I’m a very highenergy performer and like to move a lot on the set.
Thanks for bringing that up Tina! Most fans don’t know that we shoot in a tight frame. This makes the male POV scene realistic, and the VR more immersive. Talk a little more about that for us.
I have to be in very fixed positions shooting VR pornvideos or at least in a fixed filming frame. Being tall(175 cm without heels) doesn’t help either! I can move outof the shooting frame really easily. But I think my maleco-partners experience even worse situations here, as VRdoesn’t allow us to have any interaction with each other.
See, you’re always thinking about the viewer! If your male scene partner moves his head, we lose the POV our fans have while viewing. So basically, you are performing just for the fan because the male model can’t even look at you!
Exactly! So it’s very manual sex. However, saying that, Ilearned to adapt to the VR filming style and to enjoy it.I really like the fact that I can look at the camera allthe time, talk a lot and do my little show for the viewer.It really helped me a lot to understand the concept of VRfilming style once I had my VR headset on and I saw how itreally works from the viewer’s point. It’s a wholedifferent mind blowing, real experience!
Oh, so you’ve watched your own VR scenes?
No, I haven’t got a chance to watch myself performing inVR! I have watched someone else’s performance and thatfelt surreal! The feeling was so real, that I felt thefemale performer was sitting right on my lap and giving mea lap dance. I just wanted to touch her and wrap my hands allover around her, as it felt she was so close to me. A very powerful insightindeed!
Did she work as hard as you do? POV virtual reality shoots seem so strenuous on our models.
Yes, for the female performer for sure, as she has to bealways in control and work around her male partner.
Making these virtual worlds happen is a lot of work for you! When did you fall in love with performing in VR?
Probably when I shot my first 5 VR porn scenes and learntall the technical bits of it. Now, I just get in a modeand do my show in confidence!
Now that you have such a strong collection of scenes in VR, do you feel closer to your fans? I mean, you’re literally creating a reality where they’re having sex with you!
Absolutely! It’s a very personal and close up interactionwith viewers (my fans).
That’s why we do what we do. Connecting models like yourself with our fans, I mean, it’s so far beyond what we used to experience in POV. VR is the future, right?

If I could have the possibility of directing my own VRporn scene, it would certainly be shot somewhere outdoors.All of my VR scenes have been shot indoors, due to very difficult lighting control and the specific technicalcamera requirements. So I would love to take my viewers tomagical places, like to the tropical beach… Imagine havinga VR sex experience with a mermaid of the ocean ah?
