Gamers can now enter the shoes of a Street Fighter and bash a car to bits in VR.
Capcom’s Street Fighter II: The World Warrior is one of the most well known videogames in the history of the medium. In addition to the series of sequels, the videogame spawned nearly a dozen revised editions including Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition, Super Street Fighter II: New Challengers, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and most recently Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers on Nintendo Switch. And now, a virtual reality (VR) edition can be added to that list. Sort of.

In addition to having Street Fighter II Bonus Stage Virtual Reality available to play, Red Bull will be hosting a contest for the experience. Capcom has seen significant success in VR thus far, with Resident Evil VII biohazard continuing to impress on PlayStation VR.
