VR isn’t always a first-person gimmick. While not entirely an interface-specific perspective, third-person VR games have been present as a means of displaying the feeling of being in a game without being a direct part of it. Korix is a fight for survival, after the player character’s home world goes up in plasma. Players look down on the game space – essentially a game board – and add, upgrade, and manage their forces for an ongoing fight to live.
