Happy new year, folks. I know it’s a bit late to say that, but tell that to HTC. Today it dropped a big hint about what’s to come on 8 January at CES 2018 by tweeting a picture of the inside of what looks like an HTC Vive, with the tagline “New Year’s Resolution.”
Of course, with the “New Year’s” is blurry and the “Resolution” is in sharp focus, it seems clear that HTC is teasing some kind of upgrade for the Vive with improved resolution. It’s a little more difficult to say whether this is a full-fledged HTC Vive 2 or whether this is more of a modest upgrade, but we won’t have long to find out!
