Advanced Learning Through AR & Movie Making

Augmented reality made its debut in my science classroom in September. My anatomy and physiology students came face to face with a skeleton without having to leave the classroom, or without the presence of an actual skeleton model.

The application Anatomy 4-D allowed my high school students to peruse the human skeleton at their leisure while viewing the human body from various perspectives, zooms and angles. Users can choose to see muscular, nervous or circulatory systems, but for our purposes, the skeletal system sufficed.
