Imagine walking down the street and being able to detect whether the people passing you are single or attached based on a colour on your smartphone.
That’s what Tinder, one of world’s the most popular hook-up apps, hopes will become a reality.

Popularity of dating sites like Tinder have rocketed in recent years
The idea is based on popular Traffic Light parties where University students wore red or green to signal whether they were looking for love or not.
Similarly, an augmented reality feature on Tinder – similar to Pokemon Go – will be able to show users which strangers are red – and should be avoided – and who has green for go.
“That will definitely impact dating,” Tinder’s CEO Sean Rad said on Tuesday at tech conference Start-Up Grind.
