Vive Focus Gets A $150M Order On First Sales’ Day

The new HTC Vive Focus standalone headset went on sale in China yesterday December 12 and it’s off to a huge start according to a comment posted on Chinese social media platform WeChat by Alvin Wang-Graylin, China Regional President of VR for HTC:
“Vive Focus wins standalone VR market share leader for 12/12 sales festival  and gets a new 1 billion RMB ($150 million) order!”, claims the post.
 
The order of about 250,000 units could have been placed by the Chinese governement.
