Today, the president of HTC Mrs. Wang Xuehong sent an official announcement to HTC’s employees to introduce the company’s new organizational structure and future development strategy.

In order to accelerate HTC’s business transformation, new regional divisions are created to integrate the smartphone business and Vive VR business, starting from now. Wang Xuehong said that the organizational restructuring and market integration will contribute to the overall business development of HTC.

The five general managers are: Daniel O’Brien, general manager of the Americas; Paul Brown, general manager of Europe; Bao Yongzhe, general manager of North Asia; Alvin Wang-Graylin (Wang Congqing), general manager of China; and Chen Baizhi, general manager of Taiwan. The general manager of each district will be responsible for integrating the market operations of both the smart phone and the Vive department to launch their new market operations.

Wang Xuehong stressed that with the development of smart phones, the future development of 5G and the growth of the VR / AR industry, HTC needs to be fully prepared to take advantage of new trends and grasp the new future of HTC.
